How does dry ice cleaning work?

Dry ice cleaning, also called cryogenic cleaning, fires pellets of solid carbon dioxide through a nozzle at high speed. On impact the pellets turn to gas and expand, lifting dirt, grease, paint and other substances without the abrasion of blasting media.

It works on metal, plastic, rubber and wood. Because it is non-abrasive it is gentle on most surfaces, and it can often be done online, while equipment runs, or offline during maintenance. It can help businesses streamline maintenance and reduce downtime.
